New Delhi: Citroen made a big announcement over two years ago when they said that they are setting up shop in India and have plans to launch 5 new products within the next couple of years.
This was followed up by the launch of the C5 Aircross SUV which has set the pace for the brand in India. Next up from Citroen will be the C3 and we already have seen teasers of this product which honestly stands a higher chance at making a bigger mark in the market.
The company has been working hard on laying the foundation stones for their Indian innings and now with the C3 launch around the corner, they will be stepping up their game as this product is targeted at the masses!
Expected to launch in the first half of 2022, the Citroen C3 is a quirky yet cute-looking machine that will go up against the likes of the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnate. That’s right, it will sit in this new category of urban SUVs, however as a product it has the goods to take them head-on!
The expectations from this product are high. Citroen is a relatively new brand in India and while they have been taking the right steps to establish themselves, the competition does have a wider network and a larger following.
