“Chilling With The Best”: Shoaib Akhtar Shares Pictures With Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar

The much awaited India-Pakistan clash in the T20 World Cup 2021 is all set to take place in Dubai. Ahead of the event, former Pakistan fast-bowler Shoaib Akhtar shared pictures with cricket legends from India and Pakistan Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Zaheer Abbas on his Twitter handle.

The pictures, which are being shared widely on social media, show the cricket bigwigs in an informal interaction with each other.

Much to the delight of cricket lovers on both sides of the border, India and Pakistan are all set to lock horns on October 24. India had won the 2007 T20 World Cup by defeating Pakistan in the final. 

Earlier, Indian Team’s captain Virat Kohli had spoken about the tournament and said that though winning the T20 World Cup 2021 is the goal of the team but the culture that has been created in the team, where every member wants to be their best version, is beyond titles and tournaments.

“Look, I mean our goal is to win the World Cup. I have no idea regarding what is happening on the coach front, we have not had any detailed discussions with anyone. But winning the T20 World Cup is our goal like any other team. But I think what we have been able to create over the last 5-6 years is beyond titles and beyond tournaments,” stated Kohli during Captain’s Call organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup.
