New Delhi: After a thrilling opening day bout between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are now set to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in a much-anticipated clash on Monday (September 20) at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
KKR, who are sitting second last with just 4 points, will be looking get their act together in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and resume the season today with a win.
Earlier this season, Virat Kohli’s RCB had trashed Eoin Morgan’s KKR and had registered a 38-run win.
Kohli, who on Sunday announced that he will be stepping down as the RCB skipper at the end of the IPL 2021 season, will be hoping that his boys will produce a similar calibre performance that they did against the Kolkata side back in April.
A win tonight for the Bangalore side will take them to second spot, level on points with CSK at the top of the table.
