New Delhi: On Sunday night, Pakistan finally managed to end the World Cup jinx against the Men in Blue after suffering 12 successive losses in T20 as well as ODI World Cups against India. Pakistan beat their Indian counterpart by 10 wickets in their opening game of the opening match of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Dubai.
While the Pakistani players celebrated this historic victory, they all also took time to interact with their Indian counterparts after the match.
Former Pakistani captain Shoaib Malik, along with a few other Pakistani players was seen interacting with Dhoni – who remains to be one of the most respected figures in world cricket. Current Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and all-rounder Imad Wasim were also seen having a chat with Dhoni – who guided Team India to the World Twenty20 title in 2007.
Mohammad Rizwan (79 not out off 55 balls) and Babar Azam (68 not out off 52 balls) helped Pakistan crush India by ten wickets in a Group 2 match of Super 12 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
