New Delhi: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 will be held on October 3, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced on Monday (July 26).
The education minister also added that the exam will be held adhering to all Covid-19 norms.
This year, IIT-Kharagpur is conducting the exam, which is the qualifying test for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

IIT-Kharagpur has released the information brochure for the engineering entrance exam on June 26. Candidates can check the official website- jeeadv.ac.in for details on registration, application, eligibility and exam pattern.
Candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2020 but remained absent due to Covid will be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2021 directly, without having to take the JEE Main 2021 exam.
While releasing the JEE information brochure earlier, IIT Kharagpur said: “Due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic-related circumstances in India, the date of JEE (Advanced) 2021 had earlier been postponed. A new date will be announced in due course.”
