JEE Mains Result Announced: 44 Students Score 100 Percentile Marks, 18 Students Secure First Rank

The candidates will be able to access their results from the site of the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 3 am.

New Delhi: The JEE Mains results for the fourth session was announced at midnight on Tuesday as 44 students score 100 percentile marks and 18 students were tied for the number one rank. The candidates will be able to access their results from the site of the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 3 am.

Earlier, the Education Minister had confirmed that the results will be announced by midnight.

The final scores releases by the NTA are normalised across all shifts to provide students with a level playing field.

The marks obtained by the candidates across all the fits are converted into a scale from 100 to 0 based on the difficulty of the exams paper in each session.

The NTA has also announced a tie-breaker policy in case two students are tied for the same rank.

According to the agency if the two-person are tied then:

  • Students having more marks in math will get better ranks.
  • Students scoring better in physics will be ranked better if marks obatnied in maths still remain the same
  • Chemistry marks will be considered as a tie-breaker if marks are equald ven after comparing maths and physics score.
  • Candidates having a lesser ratio of negative to positive responses.

According to the latest information, the result is still being uploaded.
