Alia Bhatt tests COVID-19 negative, shares sun-kissed pic

Mumbai: Taking to Instagram to announce how it feels when someone tests negative, actor Alia Bhatt shared the happy news that she has recovered after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Posting a picture shows her in a beautiful blue tie-dye sweatshirt and pink pajama, Alia made the announcement. Her caption read, ”the only time being negative is a good thing”. The actor had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 2.

Sharing a statement, that read, ”Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe & take care”.

Last month when Alia’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor had tested positive for the novel coronavirus, rumours were abuzz that Alia too had been diagnosed positive. Clearing the air, she shared a note, ”I’ve been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you for all your good wishes! I’m taking care and staying safe. Please do the same. Love to you all”.

On the professional front, Alia will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. She also has Brahmastra and SS Rajamouli’s RRR in her kitty.

In another happy news, actor Akshay Kumar also tested negative for COVID-19. His wife Twinkle Khanna shared a health update on the actor on April 13. Taking to her Instagram handle, Twinkle informed fans of the news. Posting an quirky caricature of themselves in which she is holding her book Mrs Funnybones, Twinkle revealed that she is happy to have her husband back at home.

She also mentioned that everything is fine with him now. With the caricaturish picture, Twinkle wrote the caption, “Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell”.
