Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ Enters Bollywood’s Coveted ‘100 Crore Club’

New Delhi: Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise- Part I released on 17 December 2021 in as many as 5 languages and set the box office on fire from the very first day. Despite the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in the same week, the film has been doing exceptionally well at the box office ever since.

On Monday, the Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandhana-starrer film crossed the magical Rs. 100 crore nett. mark for its Hindi version, thus emerging as the third highest grosses of 2021 of Bollywood, behind Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s cricket drama 83.

As per trade analysts, Pushpa has already crossed Rs. 300 crore gross in India and Rs. 350 crore gross worldwide. The Indian box office collection (nett.) stands at Rs. 275 crore. It is now the 5th highest South Indian grosser behind the SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’s mega-blockbuster Baahubali franchise, Prabhas-starrer Saaho and Rajnikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0.

After the massive success of Pushpa The Rise, fans of superstar Allu Arjun have been flooding social media with praises for the actor. The movie recently premiered on OTT giant Prime Video’s platform too, with its Hindi dubbed version released most recently on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. And now the latest update regarding Allu’s next Hindi outing is here.

Goldmines Telefilms took to their social media handle to announce the release date of Allu Arjun’s 2020 hit film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The makers also attached the link for the Hindi trailer of the film.

The Allu Arjun-Pooja Hegde starrer film will be released on Dhinchak channel on February 6th.

The film talks about the life of a man named Bantu who feels neglected and humiliated by his father. He later learns that he was switched as an infant and his biological father is actually an business tycoon.
