New Delhi: This season of Bigg Boss has been in the news for several reasons. From wrongful evictions to physical fights, the reality show has been garnering attention of the audiences. Amongst the top contenders for winning the title of the show are actors Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash
The duo started dating while being co-contestant in the Salman Khan hosted show. Being fan-favorites, the couple also enjoy a massive following. The two are fondly called ‘TejRan’.
The couple has easily become one of the most talked about topics in this season of Bigg Boss. Although TejRan shippers stan the couple, there have also been various actors and Twitteratis who call the couple ‘toxic’.
Producer Vikas Gupta has now come out in defence of Karan Kundrra and has said that it is not right to blame just one person in a relationship. In an interview to a leading media outlet, Vikas said that when Karan is blamed for the toxic relationship, he feels it is right to an extent. He further reasoned that it is toxic from the other side as well saying that a relationship cannot be a one-sided thing.
“If one person in a relationship is troubling another one, the other one will not keep quiet and would do the same or retaliate. It is very easy to blame the guy”, the former Bigg Boss contestant added.
“Everyone remembers the fact that he shouted at her and said “Shakal dekh apni” but no one remembers when Tejasswi told him “tu kayarta ki Nishaani hai” (you are a symbol of cowardice)”, said Vikas.
On being asked as to why he was not a part of this season, he said that he has four friends locked inside the house. “The main reason I don’t want to enter the house is that I have four friends: Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Shamita Shetty, and Pratik Sehajpal, I know all of them would be in the top 5 for sure.”
