‘Boycott Kapil Sharma Show’ Trends On Twitter Again After The Kashmir Files Director Meets PM Modi

The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri had expressed disappointment over not being invited by Kapil and his team and said that he is nobody to decide if he can promote the film on the show.

New Delhi: A day after The Kashmir Files director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, his actor-wife Pallavi Joshi, and producer Abhishek Agarwal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, netizens have begun trending ‘Boycott Kapil Sharma Show’ on Twitter, again.

Earlier, Vivek hinted that Kapil Sharma had refused to have his team of The Kashmir Files on TKSS, given it didn’t boast of any big name. Following his claim, ‘Boycott Kapil Sharma Show’ began trending. Later, Kapil clarified that the buzz was “untrue”.

People are praising ‘The Kashmir Files’ a lot on social media and once seeing the team of ‘The Kashmir Files’ with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Then comedian Kapil Sharma is fiercely angry.

However, after the team of The Kashmir Files met PM Modi, people are once again calling Kapil Sharma’s show on Twitter. One user wrote, ‘Yes friends, this is the same film that Kapil Sharma refused to promote in his show, this is the one that Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised. #TheKashmirFiles.” Another wrote, “Wow! To hell with @KapilSharmaK9! This is the biggest propaganda of The Kashmir Files.”

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ starring National Award winners Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty has witnessed an uprise in its second-day box office collection. The film that revolves around the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990, has earned Rs 8.50 crores on March 12.

‘Kashmir Files’ was released on March 11 and had earned Rs 3.55 crores on its first day. So, the total box office collection till now is Rs 12.05 crores.
