BTS: Jimin, Ha Sung Woon’s OST ‘With You’ Tops iTunes Charts, Smashes ‘Dynamite’ Record

On April 25, just approximately five hours after its release, the OST topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 100 countries, becoming the fastest song to get this position. Earlier, BTS’ song ‘Dynamite’ had set this record in eight hours of its release.

K-pop band BTS’ Jimin and Ha Sung Woon’s much-awaited OST video was unveiled on April 24 by YAMYAM entertainment and it has also won the hearts of BTS Army and music enthusiasts across the world. The OST ‘With You’ is from K-drama ‘Our Blues’ and it is the first time that Jimin has lent his voice to the OST of a Korean drama, while Ha Sung Woon has sung for dramas like ‘Our Beloved Summer’ earlier.

The BTS Army is celebrating the popularity of the song and is showering love on Jimin on Twitter. “No but jimin really broke dynamite’s record and got 100 #1s within 5 hrs within 5 HRS ??? this is insane”, wrote a fan on twitter, “im scared of armys…..because the goal was 100 #1’s in 24 hours for “With You” Jimin OST….yall did that in like 5 hours”, wrote another one, “I knowww Jimin sleep good as hell knowing it’s not nobody else in the world that sound like him”, said another excited fan. 

Recently, BTS announced the release of their new album that is slated for release on June 10 this year. It was after the final show of BTS’ concert ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ in Las Vegas that the band revealed a new video with a surprise announcement. Showing through the band’s past and present, the video ended with ‘We Are Bulletproof’ and a date ‘2022.06.10,’ indicating a new album release date.
