‘Can’t Wait To See You Shine’: Janhvi Kapoor On Sister Khushi’s Film Debut

Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram account to express her excitement about her sister Khushi's big Netflix debut.

New Delhi: Star kids Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda are all set to mark their debuts in the world of cinema with with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix movie The Archies.

Wishes have been pouring in for all three from the Bollywood industry. Recently, actor Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram account to express her joy regarding her sister’s debut.

“CAN YOU KEEP CALM?!?!?!! I CANT????? CAN YOU BREATHE!!!! BECAUSE I CaNT!!!!! If this isn’t THE MOST EXCITING THING idk what is!!!!!??????!!!!”, the Dhadak star wrote.

“You guys have been working tirelessly for months to create this world, find these characters and start living this journey and there’s no one better than @zoieakhtar to guide you through this and create this most special and wholesome world of Archies” added Janhvi.

As for her sister, Janhvi can’t wait for the world to see her beautiful younger sibling. “And my sister!!! @khushi05k 🥺🥺 I can’t wait for the world to see how beautiful you are inside and out. Can’t wait to see you shine ❤️ I love you and I wish I was with you to give you 10292028 huggies and kissies,” concluded the post.

Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, daughters of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and late Bollywood actor Sridevi, and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, are among the seven actors who will feature in the live-action musical film.

The other four actors are Super 30 star Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina. Akhtar took to Instagram and shared a teaser video, unveiling the film’s cast, set in the 1960s. “Ain’t nothing like old school. Grab your gang ’cause the Archies are coming soon on @netflix_in!” Zoya Akhtar wrote in the caption of a post announcing the project.

Netflix has partnered with Archie Comics for the project, which Akhtar and her longtime collaborator Reema Kagti are producing under their banner Tiger Baby. The Archies will be released on Netflix in 2023.
