THE Kannada film industry is witnessing a period of many unique experiments in terms of filmmaking. There is a new-wave cinema and several pan India movies are being made. And it goes without saying that no industry can grow without attempting something new and experimenting with ideas. Right now, Sandalwood is witnessing yet another unique venture by aspiring makers who despite working in other arenas are hoping to make it big in films. One such project is Consilium.
As suggested by the the title, the movie is as special as the name that has been helmed by Samarth who has also played the lead role. His brother Preetham has played another prominent character in the film and Archana and Kushi are the female leads.
The highlight here is that Consilium is a science fiction flick and hence falls under a category that is not often dealt with in Kannada cinema. Be it the cinematography, technicality or making, Consilium is a class apart in Sandalwood. And all of these aspects will ensure that it garners attention from audiences, feels director Samarth. The film has been produced under the banner of Seetharam Shastry Production House with Reshma Rao as its executive producer.
