New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar on Sunday has been admitted to Mumbai’s Khar Hinduja hospital after reportedly suffering from breathing problems for the past few days.

“Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He was having breathing issues since past few days,” Saira Banu was quoted as saying by ANI.
In May, Kumar was admitted to the same hospital for a routine check-up. However, his stay was a short one and was quickly released after all the tests were conducted.
In 2020, the iconic actor lost his two younger brothers — Ehsan Khan (90) and Aslam Khan (88) — due to coronavirus complications. Kumar made his debut on the silver screen with Jwar Bhata in 1944.
He appeared in some iconic films throughout his career spanning over five decades, including Kohinoor, Mughal-e-Azam, Devdas, Naya Daur, Ram Aur Shyam, among others.
The last time Kumar had featured on the big screen was in Qila, back in 1998.
