New Delhi: Rocking star Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 continues to shatter records at the box-office and give competition to new releases. After a thunderous success at the Indian box-office, the movie is now amongst Aamir Khan’s Dangal, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, and RRR and has earned more than Rs. 1000 crore (gross) at the worldwide box-office.

And now, creating a new record, the Yash-starrer has now become the second highest grossing Indian film at the box-office.

Recently, the Yash-starrer became the fourth movie ever to enter the 1000-crore club at the global box-office.

Trade analyst Himesh Mankand wrote, “It’s 1000 not out! #KGFChapter2 zooms past the Rs 1000 crore club at the global box office. #Yash starrer becomes the fourth Indian film after #Dangal, #Bahubali2, and #RRR to attain this feat. First ever film of Kannada origin to clock four digit number. HISTORIC INDEED”.

Here’s the list of top ten highest-grossing movies at the Indian box office of all-time:

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion – Rs. 1346.90 crores

K.G.F. Chapter 2 – Rs. 892 crores Approx (20 days)

RRR – Rs. 887 crores Approx (40 days)

Dangal – Rs. 511.30 crores

2.0 – Rs. 508.50 crores

Baahubali: The Beginning – Rs. 482 crores

PK – Rs. 455 crores

Avengers: Endgame – Rs. 442.70 crores

Tiger Zinda Hai – Rs. 434.70 crores

Sanju – Rs. 434.30 crores

As Yash’s stardom continues to reach new heights, latest buzz is that the Kannada heart-throb was offered a staggering amount to endorse a paan masala brand. Hoever, Yash has refused to be associated with the brand.

The agency that manages endorsement deals for Yash, Exceed Entertainment, has confirmed the news. 

Arjun Banerjee, head of the talent management agency that manages Yash’s endorsements said in a press statement, “I remember when we became a part of the team with Yash and his long time friend and associate Prashant in March 2020, we created an informal group for communication and it was named ‘storm is coming’ that is the belief he is instilled in us, at a time when no one knew when will the filming of KGF2 will complete let alone release and be a monstrous hit” quoted Hindustan Times.
