Notably, Khan starred in one film in his career named Deshdrohi, which he also produced. It received negative reviews from critics and audience and is often considered one of the worst Bollywood films of all time.

Deshdrohi was directed by Jagdish A Sharma and produced by Kamaal R Khan and also starred Manoj Tiwari, Hrishitaa Bhatt, Gracy Singh and Zulfi Syed.

The film was eventually banned in Maharashtra by the state government amid riot concerns.
