Rajnikanth’s Annaathe Set To Release In Theatres This Diwali

New Delhi: Superstar Rajinikanth is back on the silver screen with his upcoming film, Annaatthe. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers treated fans to the teaser and songs of the movie. Directed by Siruthai Siva, Annaatthe is a rural entertainer featuring Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu and Prakash Raj in important roles.

The teaser of Annaatthe released last week, with Rajinikanth portrayed as a larger-than-life action hero who can simply trigger a series of explosions without breaking a sweat and look cool doing it. The roughly two minute-long video is a celebration of Rajinikanth taking on several people who have wronged the village he represents.

Annaatthe song Marudhaani also released a few days ago, trending big time on social media. The song features Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Khushboo Sunder and Meena. Meanwhile, the title track of Annatthe has been sung by late singer S P Balasubramaniam, who died of Covid-19 in September 2020.

Written and directed by Siva, Annaatthe will be releasing on November 4, coinciding with the Deepavali celebration.
