New Delhi: Actor Ranveer Singh is one busy man as he promotes his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. On Monday, the actor was on the sets of ‘Dance India Dance Lil’ Masters’ where he met with the panel of judges; Mouni Roy, Sonali Bendre and Rem D’Souza.
Ranveer posted a series of videos on his social media account to share behind-the-scenes moments from the sets. In one hilarious video, Ranveer can be seen talking to Mouni and calling her the ‘real reason behind global warming.’
“Mouni Ji, desh mein heat wave chal rahi hain, kuch toh reham karo.” Mouni responded with a confused expression, to which Ranveer quickly added “Waise bhi if things get too hot in here, I have come prepared,” later picking up a fire extinguisher.
Ranveer Singh is ready to arrive on the big screen with his latest social comedy, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The movie is a part of Yash Raj Film’s ‘YRF50’ universe, which celebrates 50 years of the production house in the film industry.
Talking about the film, Ranveer said that he feels extremely blessed to be a part of Jayeshbhai Jordaar and hopes to leave an important message to society with his project.
“I have been blessed and fortunate to have found remarkable scripts that have stood out and touched people. I’m grateful for them and I’m also proud of the work that I have done to bring those roles to life on screen. It has taken everything out of me but I have always believed that if I have to be the best actor-entertainer in the country, then I have to do things that no one would attempt doing,” he shared.
“Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a film that I have relished being a part of because it has again pushed me to shape-shift into becoming a character with absolutely no reference point in Hindi cinema,” Ranveer added.
“You have not seen a character like Jayeshbhai. He is not your typical hero. He discovers heroism when he is pushed to the brink and he is, according to me, one of the most lovable heroes in the history of Hindi cinema,” he expressed.
Also starring Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah in prominent roles, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is directed by Divyang Thakkar and will arrive in theatres on May 13.
