Shark Tank India Judges to grace Kapil Sharma Show

Kapil is awaiting the release of his debut standup special. "Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet", the special will be released on Netflix on Friday.

New Delhi: The seven ‘sharks’ of the reality show Shark Tank India will be this week’s guests on The Kapil Sharma Show. Comedian and his cohorts having a great time with the investors. A new promo of the episode showed Kapil and his cohorts sharing a great time and jokes with the investors who took different questions in good spirit and were seen enjoying it.

In the start of the promo Kapil listed the credentials and net worth of the ‘sharks’. When it is mentioned that the comedian kept the net worth of Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal on the low side, the comedian said, “Ye aapko kam lag rahi hai, hum langot pehen ke Himachal chale jayein?”

Talking to Vineeta Singh, the co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics Kapil said in Hindi, “Vineeta, your husband is a co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics too. If he comes home one night with a lipstick stain on his shirt, do you suspect him of cheating or do you wonder if he’s just been testing products?”

Responding on a lighter note Vineeta said, “I’d be angrier because Sugar’s lipsticks are transfer-proof, so whoever he was with was probably using a rival brand’s products.” Kapil, taken aback for a split-second, replied, “Okay, so you’ll be angry at the brand!”

Later in the promo, Kiku Sharda is seen in his lawyer Damodar Jethmalani character, who tries to return a Lenskart voucher worth Rs 2000 to Peyush Bansal. He said, “Mere paas Lenskart ka Rs 2000 ka voucher hai. Chakkar yeh hai ke aankhein hai meri teen. Voucher ka kya karunga, Rs 2000 de do na yaar (I have a Lenskart voucher for Rs 2000, but the problem is that I have three eyes. What will I do with the voucher, can you just give me Rs 2000 in cash, instead)?”

Shark Tank India is an Indian version of the original American reality show, which has been running for 13 seasons since 2009. The entrepreneurs pitch ideas to the ‘sharks’, who analyse the pros and cons of investing in the businesses. If the contestants are successful in convincing the sharks with their ideas, they end up raising the money they require for their business and they leave without any funds if they fail to do so.

The seven sharks of the show are: Ashneer Grover–MD and Co-Founder of BharatPe, Anupam Mittal–Founder & CEO of People Group, Aman Gupta–Co-Founder & CMO of boAt , Vineeta Singh–CEO & Co-Founder of SUGAR Cosmetics, Namita Thapar–Executive Director at Emcure Pharma, Ghazal Alagh–Co-Founder & CIO of Mamaearth, Peyush Bansal–Founder & CEO of Lenskart.
