The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Sunday (February 7) reported that India’s COVID-19 tally reached 1,08,26,363 with 12,059 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the Union Health Ministry, India has recorded 11,805 discharges and 78 deaths in the last 24 hours too. These numbers takes the total discharges and death toll in the country to 1,05,22,601 and 1,54,996 respectively.

As per reports, the total number of active COVID-19 cases in India stands at 1,48,766.

Up till February 6, 20,13,68,378 coronavirus samples were tested. From this, 6,95,789 samples were tested on Tuesday the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) revealed.

Since the start of the COVID-19 vaccination drive in India from January 16, more than 20-crore people have been vaccinated so far.
