New Delhi: Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s red cap statement, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has retaliated by giving a reply on the microblogging website.
Tweeting his reply to PM Modi’s “Laal Topi Wale Are Red Alert for UP” remarks, the Samajwadi chief wrote, “Red alert for BJP in the upcoming elections is inflation; unemployment; plight of the farmer-labourer; Hathras, Lakhimpur, women and youth oppression; ruined education, business and health and of course the ‘Lal Topi’ because it will throw BJP out of power this time.”
“Lal Ka Inquilab Hoga, Bias Mein Badlav hoga!” (Red will win and 2022 will see the change)
Earlier today, taking a swipe at the Samajwadi Party ahead of assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi equated the “red caps” with “red alert” for the state.
The Prime Minister’s comments came while he was addressing a rally in UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s bastion Gorakhpur. He said, “Today, the entire UP very well knows that those wearing red caps are concerned about red beacon (‘laal batti’) and they are not bothered about people’s pain and sorrows.”
