The Bhartiya Janta Party has now started it’s preparations for the 2024 General Elections in full swing.
The first step to firm up a political strategy for 2024 is to identify the weak seats or the seats on which the BJP’s performance was not Upto the mark in 2019. The BJP has identified 144 such Lok Sabha constituencies across the country.
These 144 seats have been further combined together to form clusters with a Central minister being given charge of each of these clusters. Key Central government ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Smriti Irani, Bhupendra Yadav, Piyush Goyal, Anurag Thakur, Sanjeev Balyan and Mahendra Nath Pandey have been roped in.
On Tuesday, BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah will be taking a report from each of these ministers who were asked to visit the constituencies and chalk out a winning strategy.
The ministers were given time till 31st August to finalise their reports before Tuesday’s crucial meeting.
On 25th May, BJP top brass had identified seats where BJP’s winning margin was either very thin or they lost the seats. The central ministers were given the task of spending atleast 2 days each on these 144 Lok Sabha constituencies and submit a report to the high command on their ground assessment of the same.
Along with Amit Shah and JP Nadda, BJP’s National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh will also be present in this high level meeting to chalk out the next plan for the BJP.
