New Delhi: Delhi on Friday (June 11) reported 238 new cases of COVID-19 which is the lowest tally in three months. 24 fatalities and 504 recoveries were recorded in the same period. The positivity rate in the national capital has now dipped to 0.31 per cent.
The total number of cases in Delhi since the start of the pandemic has now gone up to 14,306,71 while the recoveries stand at 14,019,77.
24772 people have succumbed to the virus ever since the pandemic began.
There are 3922 active cases of COVID-19 in Delhi.
On the vaccination front, 81183 people were inoculated in the past 24 hours taking the total figure to 59,103,50.
Out of these 50,204 people received the 1st dose while 30979 people received the second dose of the vaccine.
45,16,208 people have so far received the first dose of vaccine since January 16 while the number of second dose beneficiaries stands at 13,941,42.
Meanwhile, India on Friday recorded 91,702 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The cases were down by 2, 350 new infections as compared to the previous day when 94,052 Covid-19 cases reported on Thursday.
This was the fourth consecutive day that the nation had reported less than 1 lakh cases.
