Dadra and Nagar Haveli MP Mohan Delkar found dead in Mumbai

Further investigation into his death is underway, South Mumbai police added.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli MP Mohan Delkar is suspected to have died by suicide at a hotel in South Mumbai, according to the news agency ANI. As per reports, the body of the 58-year-old leader has been sent for postmortem and local police have begun their investigation into the matter.

Delkar is survived by his wife and two children. The seven-time MP was born in December 1962 in Silvassa in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Further investigation into his death is underway, police added. The police are present on the spot.
