Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday (March 8) said that the state government will construct a Yathri Nivasa (guesthouse) in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh for devotees visiting the town.
The announcement was made as he was presenting the state budget 2021-22 in the Legislative Assembly. He further said that it would be constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crores and the Uttar Pradesh government will provide five-acres of land for the same.
This comes just days after it was reported that international flights from the under-construction Ayodhtya Airport will start from early next year. The Uttar Pradesh government had also allocated Rs 1001 crores in its 2021-22 budget for the construction of the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Airport.
Yediyurappa also said that the government will establish a gaushala in each district of the state to prevent cows from getting slaughtered. Furthermore, he also added that the Budget deficit for the Financial Year 2021-22 is estimated to be at Rs 15, 134 crores.
