The domestic cylinder prices of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Delhi has gone up by almost Rs 50 per unit, according to sources quoted by ANI.
Reports also added that the new price of Rs 769 per 14.2 kilograms LPG cylinder will be put into action in the national capital from February 15 12 am onwards.
This will be the second time that the prices have gone up in the month of February in 2021. The oil marketing companies had bumped up the price of the non-subsidised LPG cylinders by INR 25 in metro cities on February 4.
The increase in the price tag of LPG comes during a time when the petrol and diesel prices in the country have reached an all-time high. As compared to February 14, the petrol prices have gone up by 26 paise while diesel price has increased by 29 paise.
The cooking gas is obtained from crude oil and from natural gas.
