New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the entire nation on Sunday through his monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat, at 11 am. The address will be broadcast on the entire network of Doordarshan and All India Radio and also on the AIR News website – www.newsonair.com and on the newsonair Mobile App.
Back on March 14, PM Modi had invited views and suggestions from the entire nation and share their inspiring life journeys for this year’s third Mann Ki Baat broadcast – that is set to be held on March 28.
“Mann ki Baat” is the Prime Minister’s monthly radio address to the nation, which is broadcast on the last Sunday of every month.
During the last Mann Ki Baat session on February 28, Narendra Modi had said that his only regret is not able to learn Tamil, the oldest language in the world.
Modi was addressing the second Mann Ki Baat of 2021, during which he brought up a question asked by Aparna Reddy from Hyderabad. She had asked, “You have been PM for so many years and were CM for so many years. Do you ever feel that something is missing?”
Answering her question, Modi said, Aparna Ji’s question seems simple but is equally difficult. I pondered this over and told myself that one of my shortcomings was that I could not make much effort to learn Tamil, the oldest language in the world; I could not make myself learn Tamil! It is such a beautiful language, which is popular all over the world.”
Modi also added that many people have told him a lot about the quality of Tamil literature and the depth of the poems written in it. India is a land of many languages, which symbolizes our culture and pride.
