Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah And Other Regional Leaders Swing Into Action Amid Speculations Of Assembly Polls In J-K

Senior Congress leader and Former Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Azad said that Centre should conclude the delimitation process in Jammu and Kashmir by February and hold assembly polls immediately after the winter.

Srinagar: As speculations surrounding Assembly Polls in J&K are gripping the ground, the regional as well as Central parties have now started buckle up to conduct rallies in entire Jammu and Kashmir.

With the atmosphere getting warm for polls, the regional parties including National Conference and PDP have again set the foothold on bringing back of Pre August 5 2019 position.

Omar Abdullah who is on a week tour to Chenab Valley addressed various party gatherings. Omar slammed Congress for its silence. He said his party will single-handedly continue its fight for the restoration of Article 370, if the grand old party is not ready to fight this battle.

In his speech Omar Abdullah, who was the Former Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir and Presently holding Vice Presidentship of National Conference said that J&K’s future is linked to the special status guaranteed by the Constitution, he said, adding that the case for restoration of Article 370 is very strong.

PDP President Mehbooba Mufti in North Kashmir Bandipora said that BJP has created Proxy parties to help them in making unconstitutional decision of August 05 as constitutional in J&K assembly. She claimed that people of J&K knows exactly which party stands for what and how their identity (370 & 35A) were snatched away from them.

Senior Congress leader and Former Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Azad said that Centre should conclude the delimitation process in Jammu and Kashmir by February and hold assembly polls immediately after the winter.

In his speech at mega party rally in South Kashmir’s Kulgam, Azad said it was not feasible to conduct polls during the next four months of winter.
