Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in its reply to the special court, said that Aryan Khan used to procure contraband from friend Arbaaz Merchant. The agency accused Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s 23-year-old son of being an ‘integral part’ of a drug nexus.
“Khan was accused of being used to procure contraband, and the contraband was found in the custody of [Arbaaz] Merchant. The investigations pertaining to transactions abroad need to be investigated and are being investigated,” the NCB was quoted saying.
Aryan Khan – Accused No. 1 for the NCB – sourced drugs and was in touch with “some persons abroad who appear to be a part of an International Drug Network for illicit procurement of drugs”, the anti-drugs agency has said in the statement that has yet to be submitted in court.
They have added that Aryan is in touch with people who are a part of ‘international drug network’ for illegal procurement of drug. The matter pertains to Aryan Khan and seven others in connection with the cruise ship raid in Mumbai on October 3.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has also summoned filmmaker Imtiaz Khatri for questioning. He has been asked to appear before the agency on October 14, says the agency.
