New Delhi: FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) organised an interactive session with Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs & Food & Public Distribution and Textiles, Govt. of India. Economic growth benefits greatly from investing in women and paying attention to their employment opportunities and empowerment. Since 1983, FLO, one of the oldest and busiest business chambers for women, has been promoting this cause.

Piyush Goyal shared his input on the need to ‘Invest in Her’. He also highlighted the initiatives of the government to boost women’s entrepreneurship and beyond.

“We want to build a global industry across all sectors. We aim to dominate the global market. India has long been a nation of powerful women in a variety of professions, including business, science, and technology. Piyush Goyal said, “We invite all the young and female business owners to step forward and make investments in order to support the development of the country.

“The Center is actively working with various nations to complete a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), and talks with the United Kingdom (UK) are nearing their conclusion. This FTA will grant various business sectors duty-free access to the global market. because of the numerous policy decisions made by the government and the diligent efforts made by the industry nation to increase exports. He predicted that the nation’s economy would grow from its current level of $3 trillion to $30 trillion, and the government has been aggressively addressing all structural issues, such as trade restrictions, taxation problems, and issues with global competitiveness, Goyal said.
