Secunderabad Club Gutted In Massive Fire, Property Worth Over Rs 20 Crore Destroyed

The fire burnt the 144 years old club which was build for military officers during the British rule in India.

Hyderabad: A huge fire broke out at the prestigious Secunderabad Club in the early hours of Sunday. Around ten fire tenders reached at club to control the fire, finally the fire was stopped but the club was burnt down completely. The reason behind the fire is still unknown.

As per the fire crew officials, they received the information at around 3AM on the Sunday morning and they reached on the spot of incident as soon as possible. The fire burnt the 144 years old club which was build for military officers during the British rule in India.

In the fire accident happened at Secunderabad club on Sunday morning burnt away all the furniture and other important and priceable things. The Club management informed India Ahead that huge damage of around rupees 20 crore can be estimated so far.

The club was build on the land area of 20 acers, police is still investigating the site to confirm the reason of blaze.
