Within an hour, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut retorted back with a tweet calling the protestors ‘terrorist’ in her post. Kangana, who has been in news due to her Twitter war with Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh on the same issue, has supported the government so far in this matter.
“No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA… Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies,” she said.
Farmers who have been protesting near the Delhi border since November 26, 2020, have been adamant about their demand to repeal the three farm laws which were passed by Parliament in September 2020. The three laws are–Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
