Soldier, 2 Civilians Injured In Encounter In Jammu And Kashmir’s Kulgam

Security forces launched a cordon operation in Batpora village of Kulgam following information about the presence of terrorists there, a police official said.

Srinagar: Two civilians and a soldier were injured in an encounter between terrorists and security forces on Monday in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Security forces launched a cordon operation in Batpora village of Kulgam following information about the presence of terrorists there, a police official said.

“An Army soldier and two civilians got injured in the ongoing #encounter. All three injured shifted to the hospital for treatment. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow,” a police spokesman tweeted.
