Salem: A marriage in Tamil Nadu’s Salem district has created a buzz due to the names of the bride and groom. The couple’s wedding invite had gone viral on social media as the groom is named Socialism while the bride in Mamatha Banerjee. The marriage took place on Sunday.

Mamatha and Socialism got married at Panaimarathupatti in Salem district in the presence of state Communist Party of India (CPI) president R Mutharasan.

Socialism is the son of Salem CPI district secretary A Mohan. He also has two brothers named Leninism and Communism. The wedding invitation had also mentioned that Socialism’s brothers, Communism and Leninism, would also attend the marriage ceremony

In the above-mentioned viral invite, it also said that Leninism’s son Marxism would also in attendance at the ceremony.

Even though the family wanted the wedding to be a small-scale one, the viral invite prompted numerous people to shower their blessings on the newly married couple, whose telephone numbers were also printed on the invite.

A Mohan named all his three sons after the ideologies. Socialism is his youngest son, while Communism is the eldest one.

Meanwhile, the bride’s family members, who are staunch Congress supporters, are related to Mohan and are from the same village.

The bride was named after the current West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who started her political innings with the Congress party in the 1970s and now heads the Trinamool Congress (TMC).
