New Delhi: Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar, who is currently in Guwahati with Eknath Shinde Camp, in an exclusive interview with India Ahead said that the rebelling MLAs won’t return to Mumbai before the Floor Test. Further adding, he said, “We are very much confident and we can’t be disqualified by the Uddhav Thackeray faction.”

“We will go into the Assembly straight to prove our majority,” Kesarkar added.

Speaking on the break-away allegations of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress that BJP is pressurising the MLAs by using investigating agencies, the rebel MLA said that the MLAs in Guwahati are not under any pressure. “We are unhappy with Uddhav Thackeray and Shiv Sena’s alliance with NCP.”

Claiming BJP as the natural ally of Shiv Sena, he said, “I don’t understand why Shiv Sena broke up with BJP and formed an alliance with the NCP and the Congress, despite MLAs requesting to go ahead with BJP.” He also accused NCP chief Sharad Pawar of breaking Shiv Sena.”
