Bengaluru Woman Throws 4-Year-Old Child To Death, Incident Captured On CCTV

New Delhi: A woman in Bengaluru threw her four-year-old specially abled daughter from the fourth floor of a building before trying to jump herself. While she was stopped by her family members, the child died on the spot.

The horrific incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the apartment in Bengaluru’s SR Nagar. The woman, identified as Sushma, was seen walking along with her daughter in the balcony, after which she lifted her daughter and threw her to the ground.

Sushma then stood on the railing in order to jump, but members of her family could be seen rushing out and pulling her back inside.

The woman was arrested by police after her husband filed a police case. According to the police, the four-year-old girl was hearing and speech impaired. Apparently depressed by her child’s disability, the woman threw the child, police said.

The woman is a dentist and her husband works as a software engineer.
