Earthquake Strikes Parts Of Manipur, Karnataka

As per the National Center for Seismology, tremors were felt in parts of Moirang, Manipur and Gulbarga, Karnataka.

New Delhi: Earthquakes of magnitude 3.4 and 3.6 on the Richter scale struck Manipur’s Moirang and Karnataka’s Gulbarga on Tuesday morning, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) informed via their Twitter Handle.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.4, Occurred on 12-10-2021, 08:50:16 IST, Lat: 24.14 & Long: 93.95, Depth: 36 Km ,Location: 43km SSE of Moirang, Manipur, India”, wrote the National Center for Seismology on their Twitter handle.

Another tweet by the NCS updated about the Earthquake in Gulbarga. “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.6, Occurred on October 12, 08:06:27 IST, Lat: 17.36 & Long: 77.30, Depth: 5 Km, Location: Gulbarga, Karnataka”, the tweet read.

Earlier on Monday night, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale had struck Karnataka’s Gulbarga at around 11 PM.
