Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021: Check Exam Dates, Admit Card Date

Bengaluru: Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on Monday (June 28) announced the dates for the Secondary School Leaving Certification (SSLC) examination in the state.

The SSLC examination or the Class 10 board exam will take place on July 19 and July 22.

Suresh Kumar said, “On July 19 examination will be conducted for core subjects-Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Similarly, on July 22, the examination will be held for language subjects.”

The exams will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and the pattern of the paper will be multiple-choice questions.

“The students will have to mark the right answers on the Optical Mark Reading (OMR) sheet given to them at the examination centres,” the Minister added.

Admit cards will be issued to school heads today.

Only 12 students will be allowed to sit in each classroom and all Covid appropriate behaviour would have to be followed.

Students who are Covid positive can write exams from the regional Covid care center, as per the rules.

Kumar also added that students who have migrated with their parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic can write their examination from a centre closer to their location.
