ICC wishes Ross Taylor Happy Birthday, shares his brilliant knock against Pakistan

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday (March 8) wished New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor on his birthday. It also shared the video of his blistering inning against Pakistan in the 2011 Men’s Cricket World Cup at Pallekele.

Taylor’s inning in the match was one of his finest and co-incidentally also came on his birthday as he smashed 131 runs off 124 balls to help his team win the match by 110 runs.

Taylor who was given multiple lifelines by the Pakistani especially wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal made full use of the chance as the Kiwis smashed 92 runs off the final 25 balls to cross 300.
