Twitter in awe as Trent Boult takes stunning one handed catch during 3rd New Zealand-Bangladesh ODI-WATCH

This was the third wicket that Bangladesh lost and from there on it was the Kiwis bowlers who were on top as they dismiss James Neesham came into the party and took a fifer to snuff out any chance that the visitors had of winning their first match against New Zeland in New Zealand for over two decades.

Trent Boult known for his outstanding swing bowling and exceptional fielding furthered his reputation on Friday (March 26) after he took a stunning catch in the 3rd ODI at Basin Reserve, Wellington against Bangladesh to dismiss Liton Das. Boult took the catch on the last ball of the 7th over.

Matt Henry bowled a short delivery as Das went for a pull but could only manage to top-edged the ball to third man where the left-hander ran and timed his dive to perfection dived to catch the ball one-handed. Even Henry was in shock and rather than celebrating his wicket was just admiring the effort that his teammate put in completing the catch.

Even the International Cricket Council (ICC) was in awe of Boult as it tweeted “Hold the pose, @trent_boult A ridiculous catch from the@BLACKCAPS quick.”

Earlier in the day, New Zealand were also in a precarious position as they lost three batsmen for 57 runs. However, Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell played a flawless inning to take their team from 120-4 to 279-5. Conway would depart with 16 balls remaining but his partner scored 17 runs in the last over to reach his century on the last ball.
