Prime Minister Khan on Thursday (May 6) in a meeting with foreign envoys had advised them to work on priority for the welfare of overseas Pakistanis.
The meeting comes a day after Pakistan Cabinet on Thursday rejected the proposal to import sugar ad cotton yarn from India.
The letter was written by Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of the National Day of Pakistan which is celebrated to commemorate the Lahore Resolution, 1940, and the adoption of the first constitution of the country which made it the first Islamic republic in the world on March 23, 1956.
Pakistan had received 500,000 doses of Sinopharma vaccines on Wednesday from China for its vaccination drive after which PM Imran Khan was administered the first dose.
On Monday, Pakistani President Arif Alvi and his wife Samina Alvi received their COVID-19 jabs with the Sinopharm vaccine in Islamabad.
