New Delhi: Apple launched its brand new range of iPhones on Tuesday at its virtual event in California, United States.
Like the last year, the company launched the four versions of the phone i.e. iPhone mini, iPhone, iPhone max, iPhone max pro.
All four phones come with a host of features and Apple claims that they massively improved upon the hardware and software performances from the previous generation of iPhones.
iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max
The high-end lines of the iPhone, the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max have been priced at 999 $ and 1099 $ respectively.
Both the phones come with a Super retina XDR display that comes with a refresh rate from 10 Hz to 120 Hz.
Apple says that the phone can easily switch between the optimal refresh rate to align itself with the user’s hand movement.
The screen size remains the same at 6.1 inches (iPhone 13 Pro) and 6.7 inches (iPhone 13 Pro Max) and has a 1000nits outdoor brightness display.
The phones will come in four colors namely graphite, gold, silver, and a new light blue.
It comes with a 5-core GPU which Apple claims make it 50 per cent faster than any of its competitors in the market.
Both the phone have a three-camera setup the telephoto camera, the wide camera, and the ultra-wide camera.
The wide camera has the biggest sensor ever on an iPhone which will help in improving low light photography.
The telephoto camera has a 6x zoom and all three cameras are equipped with night mode.
Apple also claims improvements in battery life.
According to the company, the iPhone 13 Pro has 1.5 hours of additional battery life than the iPhone 12 Pro while the iPhone Pro Max has 2,5 hours of additional battery life as compared to iPhone Max Pro.
Apple has also announced a new model with 1 Tb of storage, the first time that a 1 TB storage has been provided for an iPhone.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini are priced at 799 $ and 699 $ respectively.
Both the phones come with a sleek flat end design and a ceramic steel front and come in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage configuration.
Both the phones are powered with the new A15 Bionic chip.
The chip 6-Core CPU includes two high-performance cores, 4 high-efficient cores.
Apple said that in CPU performance the chip is 50 per cent faster than its competitor and 30 per cent faster when it comes to graphics performance.
Both the phones feature a double back camera setup.
The ultra-wide camera has a 12-megapixel lens with an f/1.6 aperture while the new 12-megapixel ultrawide camera features a faster f/2.4 lens and 120-degree field of view..
The iPhone 13 also comes with image stabilisation technology that physically moves the sensors that reduce the vibrations during recording.
However, the most exciting feature for the iPhone is the Cinematic mode which allows changing the focus of a video automatically by observing real time changes in the video.
In the mode, the camera is able to hold focus on the subject and is also able to anticipate when the subject is about to enter the frame and change the focus to it immediately.
In battery life, the iPhone 13 mini has a 1.5 hours longer battery life than the iPhone 12 mini while the iPhone 13 has got 2.5 hours more battery life than iPhone 12.
Apple also said that it was working with over 200 carriers in over 60 countries and regions to improve the 5G connectivity for its phones.
