New Delhi: If you are facing trouble connecting to a meeting on Google Meet, you are not alone. Google’s popular video communication service, Google-Meet is facing server issues since Saturday morning (June 5).

Several users have reported facing problems in joining their meeting links via Google Meet. Reportedly, Google Meet’s server has been down since 7 am in morning. Users have posted the issue on Twitter, asking Google to resolve the glitch as soon as possible.

Several students supposed to join online classes also complained about not being able to use Google Meet. According to Downdetecter, an online platform that provides users with real-time information about the status of websites, the Google Meet outage is spread across various cities in India.

The platform also stated that the most reported problem is inability to join a meeting which is by 64% of the users. Users are also unable to login with around 19% of users facing this issue. Around 16% of users are unable to start a meeting on Google Meet.

Some users are getting kicked out of meetings after joining the meeting, and in some cases the audio and video aren’t working properly. Here are a few tweets.

It was only a few days back that Google Meet for web had introduced a new User Interface (UI) for its users. Meanwhile, people are still waiting for the issue to get resolved. Google is yet to issue an official statement about the outage.
