Due to time constraints and problems faced by schools and teachers, CBSE on July 21 extended the last date of finalizing the Class 12 results to July 25. Earlier, the results were scheduled to be out by July 22. This decision has made the students more anxious as the wait for their results has extended by a few more days.
The CBSE, however, did not clarify whether extending the deadline for schools will cause a delay in the declaration of CBSE Class 12 results which are due to be declared latest by July 31. The delay in the CBSE exam results has also left the teachers worried about future prospects of their students.
The board officials have cited the reason for delayed results is because of the Covid-19 situation. Meanwhile, CBSE has requested schools to continue working towards compiling the results by completing the moderation process to avoid a last-minute rush.
The board also added that in case any school is left to complete the moderation, the result of such schools will be declared separately.
