India reported 1,94,720 fresh Covid-19 cases, 15.8% lower than the previous day figure. 60,405 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate reaches at 96.01%. The daily positivity rate reaches at 11.05%.
India’s active caseload currently stands 9,55,319, active cases stand at 2.65%. Relatively five states namely Haryana (5,746), Gujarat (7,476), Kerala (9,066), Karnataka (14,473) and Tamil Nadu (15,379) reported maximum Covid-19 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the data given by Health Ministry, A total of 4,868 Omicron cases were reported in India so far. The three states that recorded more than 15,000 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours are Maharashtra, West Bengal and Delhi.
Maharashtra reported 34,424 new Covid-19 cases and 22 deaths in the last 24 hours. Mumbai recorded 11,647 Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours. West Bengal registered 21,098 fresh cases & 19 deaths in the last 24 hours. Delhi logged 21,259 new cases & 23 deaths in last 24 hours.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced special Yoga classes for those in home isolation. Delhi government is starting this new initiative under ‘Delhi ki Yogshaala‘ for speedy recovery of all the Covid-19 patients under home isolation.
