Covid-19 Warrior Naveen Mallesh Scales Europe’s Highest Peak Mt. Elbrus

Covid warrior Naveen Mallesh scaled Europe’s highest peak Mt. Elbrus on September 17. Bengaluru based Mallesh dedicated the climb to the “fallen warriors” of COVID-19.

“I proudly dedicate this climb to the fallen warriors of COVID-19 this includes Doctor’s, Nurses, hospital staff, policemen, frontline workers, volunteers etc. who have worked relentlessly to combat COVID-19 and have given their lives in the battle”, said Mallesh.

Three weeks’ training, blisters, unbearable cold, and more went into the making “The toughest climb” of his life.

He stated that the climb reinstated his belief that “you can climb a mountain only if the mountain allows you”.
