The ongoing Navratri and Durga Puja celebrations have filled the air with festivities. Magnificent idols of goddess Durga adorn temples and pandals.
In Hyderabad, a 45-feet tall eco-friendly idol of Maa Durga has been installed at Esamiya Bazaar. The idol has been made with clay, red sand, water paint and grass.
The beautiful idol, with vibrant colours, is a result of the hard work of 22 artists who worked for 35 days on it.
Gulab Srinivas Gangaputra, organizer of the pandal where the statue is installed says that thousands of devotees are visiting the pandal daily to see the idol. He has also thanked the Hyderabad police for their cooperation and maintenance of law and order during the festivities.
