The festive season is going on and many temples can be seen decorated with flowers, lamps , and lights. However, Andhra Pradesh’s Kanyaka Parameswari temple has a different kind of decoration on the occasion of Dussehra.

The temple, situated in Nellore, has been decorated with origami flowers made of currency notes that are valued at more than a whopping Rs. 5 crore.

These currency notes, that look like colourful flowers stitched together, are adding to the beauty of the temple.

The temple worships different forms of the goddess at different times of the year.

During the nine-day Navaratri-Dussehra festivities, the goddess is worshipped as Dhanalakshmi, the Goddess of prosperity and fortune.
