India’s largest red carpet contingent has arrived in Cannes Film Festival. The 75th Cannes Film Festival is celebrating Indian cinema. India has been chosen as the first ‘country of honour’ at Marche du Film and the ‘Cannes Next’.

Several stars arrived in France to attend the grand festival. Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived with her hubby and actor Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aradhya.

Dressed in traditional attire, the 11-member Indian delegation led by Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur walked the red carpet with several other stars in attendance. The delegation included AR Rahman, Nawazuddin Siddiqui among others.

Ricky, AR Rahman, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Nayanthara, Pooja Hegde, Prasoon Joshi, R Madhavan, Shekhar Kapur, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vani Tripathi and folk singer Mame Khan are part of the Indian delegation.

Actor Deepika Padukone turned heads at Cannes Film Festival 2022, as she does every time she attends the grand event. Setting major fashion goals, Deepika arrived in Cannes donning a Louis Vuitton mini dress and boots, followed by a boho Sabyasachi outfit as she carried out her jury duty at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

Urvashi Rautela and Tamannaah Bhatia wore their stylish best as they walked the Cannes red carpet.

R. Madhavan arrived with his team Rocketry – The Nambi Effect wearing Manish Malhotra’s designed finest suits. The actor even shared a glimpse of the festival on social media.

Meanwhile, Mame Khan, the traditional Manganiyar singer from Rajasthan became the first folk artist to open the red carpet event.
