Honda CB350 RS Review: Handy in City, Not So Much for Cruise

The Honda CB350 RS, a made-in-India bike, is a sportier version of the Honda Highness.

The Honda CB350 RS, a made-in-India bike, is a sportier version of the Honda Highness.

The bike is an absolute stunner, it looks retro, yet modern and sportier than its predecessor Highness. The dual colour scheme black and yellow makes the bike look longer and sharper. It is also available in radiant red colour. It’s got LED tail lamps, LED turn indicators which are pretty sleek but seems borrowed from the Honda Hornet.

What is special about Honda is its engine, they are so refined with ample torque to offer that enhances the riding experience. The handling is light, you can easily shift to 5th gear early on in the city ride, opening and closing of throttle works really really well.

It’s a good city buy but is little disappointing on the highways because after the 4th and the 5th gear when the torque has already peaked at 3000RPM, one is still waiting for the power to kick in, which could be a little disappointing on the highways. However, the bike gets full marks for city riding. Its agile, the quick shift gear and the throttle response makes it very easy to maneuver in the traffic.
